There will be no regular Wonders work in Spelling, Grammar, or Reading this wee. Some of the Aspire practice will be graded, however.
In our lives, we have to learn that there is a time for informal speech, such as with friends and family, and a time for formal speech---in the classroom, at work, and in public situations.
Mastering the English language is a key to having others appreciate what you know and respect what you have to offer. This key can open many doors of opportunity for each of us. I look forward to facilitating the study of our English language arts this year.
Unit 3 Week 6 begins on 2/29. We will take the opportunity to review standards of English in capitalization and punctuation on sixth grade level.
The assessment will be given on March 3.
